
Congratulations to Red Bud Middle's Teacher and Staff Member for January!
Michelle Childress- Michelle takes care of a lot of extra duties being our team leader. She relays messages from admin to our team, works with the other 6th grade team leaders on planning our field trips, and just makes sure we are all taken care of. She cares for her students and celebrates all their accomplishments along with running a tight ship to keep discipline problems to a minimum.
Kim Coots-Kim goes above and beyond for our students and staff. She does a great job at her duties of scheduling and rostering and all of those changes.
She also fills in wherever needed at the front desk and nurse when needed.


Parents and Guardians of 8th Grade students: There will be an 8th grade parent meeting on Thursday, February 15 at 6:30 pm in the Sonoraville High School gym. You will receive information regarding registration and have the opportunity to preview the elective classes that are offered at SHS. Please make plans to attend.

Mark your calendars now!! RBMS Chorus presents “Frozen, Jr.” on Thursday, Feb. 8 and Friday, Feb. 9 at 4:00pm and 7:30pm in the RBMS “gymatorium”.
All tickets are $5.00 and can be purchased at the door. Snow-o-grams can also be purchased for $1.00 to let your favorite performer know how much you loved their performance. Hope to see you there!!

Gordon County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17, due to tomorrow's Wind Chill Advisory in our area.

Gordon County Schools Families: Due to current severe winter weather conditions and tomorrow's forecast, Gordon County Schools will be closed Tuesday, January 16th, to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and community. RBMS Baseball Tryouts will be Thursday and Friday, January 18 and 19, from 3:45-5:45 at the RBMS baseball field. An optional workout for 6th and 7th grades will be on Tuesday, January 16 and an optional workout for 8th grade will be on Wednesday, January 17. Optional workouts will be from 3:45-5:00. Basketball players will tryout on Sunday, January 21 starting at 2:00 p.m. See Coach Forrest or Coach Robbins with any questions. And as always, please remember that you must be academically eligible and have a current physical on file before trying out for any sport. #rbms


This week at The Bud...


All RBMS students took the Winter MAP test in December. Students that met growth goals on both the math and reading portions of the test had their name entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card. We had over 160 students meet or exceed growth goals in both areas, so we drew two names from each grade level to win $50 gift cards.
