Dear Gordon County Schools Families,
We are working closely with local agencies to monitor the potential impact of Tropical Storm/Hurricane Helene, which may affect our area later this week. While no schedule changes are expected at this time, if conditions require adjustments such as delays, early dismissals, or closures, we will promptly notify you through our communication channels.
We will keep you updated as decisions are made. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the safety of our school community.
Sincerely,
Gordon County Schools
Ms. Lee's students that are taking Healthcare Essentials are learning about the heart . The students had to draw the heart and the blood flow through the heart with sidewalk chalk.

Gordon Central High School art teacher Kaitlyn Wood had her students showing off their realistic art pieces today! Others in the class were working on drawing themselves in several different art styles. #TogetherWeLearn #TogetherGCHS #TogetherGCS
Mrs. Albright’s Teaching as a Profession Level 1 students enjoyed choosing children’s books, creating questions based on their book, and practicing their read aloud skills using a teacher voice with some of the students in Ms. Hicks, Coach Greer, and Coach Coots class. We are thankful for this partnership!
