HAMILTON HEALTH CARE DONATES TO GORDON CENTRAL HOSA PROGRAM: On Monday, December 12th, Hamilton Health Care presented the Gordon Central High School Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) organizations with a $10,000 donation in support of their program and developing future health care professionals.
HOSA is a global student-led organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Department of Health and Human Services and several federal and state agencies. HOSA’s mission is to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the global health community, through education, collaboration, and experience.
Members of the Executive Leadership team from the Hamilton Health Care System were present to speak with the members of the Gordon Central HOSA program, discussing the vast opportunities available in healthcare and the many directions healthcare professionals’ careers can flourish. “This is an industry where almost any job you can think of is involved in healthcare in some way, shape, or form,” shared Jeff Myers, President and CEO of Hamilton Health Care System.
“There are so many different opportunities in healthcare and your options are limitless,” stated Kelley Kittle, Gordon Central High Healthcare Science teacher and HOSA sponsor.
There to present the donation on behalf of Hamilton Health Care were; Jeff Myers, President and CEO of Hamilton Health Care System, Judean Guinn, Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer, Kristine Godfrey, Vice President of Human Resources, Sandy McKenzie, President of Operations, Kristine Godfrey, Vice President of Human Resources, Danny Wright, Vice President of Support Services and Safety Officer, Rachel Ogle, Community Outreach Manager, Daryl Cole, Marketing and Communications Manager, and Kim Reynolds, System Executive Director for Marketing, Planning, and Strategy.
