The Ashworth Warriors hosted and competed at the Ashworth Warrior Invitational on Saturday. On the girl's side, Jayleigh Brooks placed 3rd in the 3200m Run with a time of 15.20. Brielle Miles set a new PR in the 100m Dash with a time of 14.21. Sheyla Ramirez set a new PR in the 100m Hurdles with a time of 22.68. Abbiegail Palomino set a new PR in the 100m Hurdles as well with a time of 21.12. On the boy's side, Lane Bailey placed second in the Boy's Discus with a throw of 88' 8.5''. Luis Alvarez shaved off 13 seconds in the 1600m run with a new PR of 7:00. Daniel Fraire set a new PR in the 100m Dash with a time of 15.51, and Ezquezial Carter set a new PR as well in the 100m Dash with a time of 14.57. If you see these athletes in the school on Monday, congratulate them on a great track meet.
