Tracy Farriba, RN, Director of Physician and Community Outreach for AdventHealth Gordon & Murray, stopped by last Friday to deliver a presentation to each grade level on the dangers of vaping. Her presentation included statistics on vaping, physical changes caused by vaping, images of the dangers of vaping, and two videos about a 15-year-old young man who had to have a double lung transplant because of vaping. Our students were engaged and asked some great questions. We really appreciate her coming by to educate our students. We are looking forward to more presentations and programs with Ms. Farriba in the future. We also appreciate how well behaved and respectful our students were during the presentation.
