Welcome Mr. Rodriguez!
Mr. Mederic Rodriguez will be joining our Science department and will be teaching physics and chemistry. He will also be joining our soccer program as the Head Coach for girls’ soccer. Mr. Rodriguez started his teaching career at Sonoraville High School and then moved to Cedartown Middle School. He is happy to be back in Gordon County where he grew up and went to school. Mr. Rodriguez and his wife, Cinthia, have been married for six years and recently adopted a puppy named Drogo. For the past 15 years, Mr. Rodriguez has served as the music and youth director at his church! He is happy to be a part of the Tribe!

We had a great turnout today at the GCHS FFA meeting. We want to give a big Thank You to Area 1 President and SHS FFA President-Makena Blalock, SHS FFA Vice President-Kylie Hurd, and Gordon County Young Farmer Teacher-Mr. Stodghill, for coming and kicking off the new school year with us!
