Seniors who plan to attend college next year need to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Completion of the FAFSA is the first step students need to take in seeking financial aid for college. In order to complete the FAFSA, students and at least one of their parents/guardians must have an FSA ID (Federal Student Aid ID) to complete the FAFSA. FSA ID’s can be created on the Federal Student Aid website. A brief video outlining FAFSA completion, a link to the FAFSA on the Web Worksheet, a link to the FAFSAitself, and a FAFSA Checklist can be found here on the Counseling page of the Gordon Central website. Gordon Central will host a FAFSA Completion Day on Wednesday, October 19. See Mr. Angland for additional details. Mr. Angland can also be reached at jaangland@gcbe.org or 706-629-7391 Ext. 4764.
