Fairmount Elementary would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to Fairmount Poultry, Jason Long with Thomas Concrete, and Sherman Hall Construction for partnering with us to install a basketball court on the playground.
This project was started by a group of 5th graders who went to the administration and asked if the school could build a basketball court for them on the playground.
Fairmount Elementary is very thankful for our community partners in education.

Happy National School Assistant Principal's week to the very best, Mr. Michael Farley! Thank you for all you do for FES!
A great assistant principal plays a vital role in shaping students' character by fostering a positive school environment, promoting academic success, and encouraging personal growth. At FES we have the BEST!

Spring Break will be April 7-11. Students will return on Monday, April 14.

We are so grateful for our partnership with Helping Hand Ending Hunger. They recently upgraded our refrigerator and freezer. This gives us the opportunity to send home frozen food along with fresh produce to our families.

Happy National School Librarian Day to Kim Clements! Thank you for all you do for FES!
Librarians are the heart of information; they are the people who make the connections that lead to knowledge.

Dear Gordon County Schools Families,
As we approach the end of the school year, we invite you to participate in the Cognia Accreditation Family and Community Survey to share your insights and provide valuable feedback about our school district. Your input is essential in helping us assess our strengths and identify areas for improvement.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey by clicking the link below:

Your feedback plays a vital role in our continuous improvement efforts and helps ensure that we are providing the best possible educational experience for our students. The survey is open until Friday, April 4th, so we encourage you to complete it as soon as possible.
Thank you for your time and support in making Gordon County Schools the best it can be!
