In JV action last night, our girls came away with a sound victory of 31-5! All our girls played well, and each made big contributions. Ma'shell Mcfadden led with 10 points. Emma Bennett had a great game and scored 6 in the post with great rebounding. Skylin Manis and Jocelyn Fuentes scored 4 each. Emma Derrick scored 4 as well and led with steals. Taylor Gal worked hard to drive to the basket and came away with 3 points. In varsity action, the girls worked hard and gave great hustle but fell short. Savannah Weller, Mattie Schmitz, Baylee Chastain, Sidney Petty, and Jocelyn Fuentes all contributed in scoring. Addy Hobson also gave a great effort on offense and defense. Our last home game is Thursday against Pepperell and we will be recognizing our 8th grade players!!

Kowen Barnes' layup with 2 seconds left gave the JV boys basketball a 22-20 overtime win Saturday at Darlington. The boys trailed by 8 with 3 minutes left before rallying to force overtime. Barnes led in scoring with 8 points.

Andon Bailey, Marlee Phipps and Browning Marlowe are the AMS Wrestlers of the Week for the past three weeks. They all received a free steak dinner from Longhorn Steakhouse in Calhoun, GA.

We are excited to welcome our students back on Wednesday, January 5th! We wanted to share a few quick facts before our first day back: -We ask that students and staff members displaying symptoms of the Covid-19 illness please remain at home. -Students missing school due to a medically related absence will be marked as excused.
