Milestones Testing Update
Tennis finished their season yesterday in the region tournament at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry. Both teams played Pepperell in the first round. The boys match saw wins from Adrian Rubio and Issac Rodriguez. The match came down to the wire in in a 9-7 loss and the boys fell short. The girls saw wins from Farrah Mihill, Kierstin Rawls, Emylin Keeton and McKenzie Casella and advanced to the second round. In the second round, they played the one seed Model and fell short. Both teams had an amazing season and showed great improvement throughout the year. "I am very proud of these two teams. Both teams were recognized by other schools for their great sportsmanship and great attitudes on and off the courts," said Coach Reece.
All library books are due back Friday, May 9th!

Mark your calendars for AMS Awards Day programs!
There is an ESOL meeting for families next Thursday, May 1st at 5:30. This is for all Gordon County middle and high schools. Scan the QR code to RSVP by April 28th. The focus of this meeting is to prevent summer learning loss, understand grading policies, high school credits, state testing scores, and a questions and answers session. Snacks will be provided with interpreters there to help with your questions and concerns.
Habrá una reunión de ESOL para familias el próximo jueves, 1 de mayo a las 5:30 p.m. Esta reunión es para todas las escuelas intermedias y secundarias del condado de Gordon. Escanee el código QR para confirmar su asistencia antes del 28 de abril.
