Tolbert Elementary congratulates Mrs. Emily Rossberg as this year's Teacher of the Year.
Mrs. Rossberg is a fifteen-year veteran of the teaching profession, having served at schools in both Georgia and Montana across several elementary grades. This is her second-year teaching at Tolbert Elementary, and she serves as a third-grade teacher. She is also a faculty & parent member of Tolbert's PTO and is very involved in the school community. She is married to her husband, Shay, and mom to her daughter, Ryleigh, who is a pre-K student at TES.
When nominated, Mrs. Rossberg's peers stated, "Mrs. Rossberg is an amazing third grade teacher. Her lessons are very engaging; the students often do not even realize they are learning. She possesses the ability to ensure every child is engrossed in learning activities. Her classroom has literally become a community. It is apparent that she genuinely cares about each student and their academics, and she has strong collaborative relationships with her peers. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated teacher who wants nothing but the best for her students and colleagues. She is intentional with everything she does here at Tolbert Elementary."
Many congratulations to Mrs. Rossberg for this tremendous accomplishment! Go Warriors!
