Our excitement level is high as Gordon County Schools are officially back in session! Students, teachers, and staff are filled with excitement for what promises to be a year of growth, learning, and community involvement. From the classrooms to the fields, courts, and beyond, the return of school means much more than academics—it’s a time to reconnect, get involved, and celebrate the opportunities that come with the new year.
In the classroom, our students are already completing pre-assessments to help determine how to individualize their learning this school year. Fall athletics are already kicking off, and games have already started for volleyball and softball. This Friday night is the first official football game of the season, and we home you come together and show pride in our student-athletes for their dedication and commitment to success.
As the new school year begins, we encourage everyone—students, parents, and community—to stay active and engaged with the schools. Let’s make this year one to remember!
