Tomorrow is College Day at RBMS!! Teachers will share their personal experience in choosing the college or university they attended as related to their career choice with students. Students will also learn about dual enrollment options for college courses in high school and how the HOPE Scholarship can help pay for college, technical, or trade school in the state of Georgia.

There will be an informational meeting, Thursday, August 28th in the RBMS cafeteria at 6:30pm for students who are interested in going on the 8th grade Georgia Tour in April. This meeting will cover costs, expectations, and scholarship opportunities for the trip as well as preview the places visited on the trip. 8th grade students received information about the GA Tour in class today. If you have any questions, please email your student's Social Studies teacher.

Kinza Ali competed in the Poppy Poster Competition by the American Legion Auxiliary. He was recognized for a remarkable Poppy Poster entry. Kinza’s poster will advance to the National Competition and will also be shared with Veteran’s Affair and Rehabilitation. Congratulations Kinza!!!

The RBMS Academic Team defeated Calhoun 190-105 yesterday at their 2nd match of the season. First Captain Parker Holland led with 5 tossups followed by Elijah Dacus with 4. Shaun Green also contributed with 1 tossup. All team members worked together on bonuses for the win. Way to go, RBMS Academic Team, and Go, Phoenix!!!! (And thank you to Mrs. Matherly, our yearbook advisor, for capturing awesome pics!)
