On Saturday, the Red Bud Middle School Softball team made it to the BGMSAA Region Championship game for the 8th consecutive year! They fought hard but were ultimately defeated by Cartersville 5-3 in the Championship game. They had to defeat Woodland and Adairsville before making it to the finals.

We are very proud of these players and would like to thank the families, students, and several staff members of the Phoenix Nation for supporting us all season! Go Phoenix! #ExtraordinaryRBMS #ExtraordinaryGCS

The Red Bud vs Calhoun football game originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 17th has been rescheduled for Monday, September 22nd. The games will be played at Red Bud Middle School and will begin at 4:30pm. Any fans that already purchased a ticket at SHS on Wednesday will not have to purchase another ticket again. If attendees still have their ticket stub from Wednesday's game, that ticket can still be used at Monday's game. If attendees do not have their ticket stub, we will operate on the honor system and allow them into the game if they tell the gate workers they already purchased a ticket for the original game on Wednesday. Also, if attendees purchased tickets on Go Fan, they will need to give their email address at the gate as we will have a list of those that purchased tickets online originally. The varsity game will begin at 4:30 and will resume where the game originally left off when the weather delay began on Wednesday. At the conclusion of the varsity game, all RBMS 8th grade football players and cheerleaders will be recognized on the field. The JV game will begin as soon as the 8th grade recognition is over. Thank you for your flexibility and we appreciate everyone's honesty in determining who has already purchased a ticket for this event. We look forward to seeing everyone again and celebrating our Phoenix football players and cheerleaders on Monday.
