AMS Students Pass First Round at All-State Chorus

Six Ashworth Middle School Chorus students, the most in Ashworth's history, have passed the first round of Georgia's All State Chorus auditions. These students were adjudicated in the following areas: solo art song, scales, and sight-singing. It is a rigorous audition process, and these students scored among the top 8-10% of other middle school chorus students. They will complete a music proficiency test over their choir's repertoire in January. The All State Chorus event will be held at the Classic Center in Athens in February.
