CALHOUN, GA – Gordon County Schools (GCS) seniors will have the opportunity to earn a new diploma seal for graduation this spring.
The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) has granted Gordon County Schools the distinction of awarding the Fine Arts Diploma Seal to eligible gradates.
The Fine Arts Diploma Seal is awarded to graduating high school students who complete a Georgia Fine Arts Pathway and engage in creative industry focus courses, extra-curricular activities, and experiences that foster Fine Arts mastery. The goal of this seal is to produce students who are prepared for college and careers in Fine-Arts related career fields.
