CALHOUN, GA – Gordon County Schools is pleased to announce the relocation of the Board of Education meetings to its newly renovated Central Office location. The first meeting at the new venue is scheduled to take place on July 17, 2023.
The decision to move the Board of Education meetings to the updated location comes as part of Gordon County Schools ongoing efforts to enhance accessibility, transparency, and engagement with the community. The new location, conveniently situated at 7300 Fairmount Highway SE, Calhoun, GA 30701, offers state-of-the-art facilities and a comfortable environment to facilitate productive discussions and decision-making processes.
The central office has undergone extensive renovations to create a dedicated space for board meetings. Equipped with modern technology and ample seating, the new board room provides an optimal setting for the Board of Education to deliberate on critical matters impacting the school system, its students and staff members.
The first Board of Education meeting at the new location is scheduled for July 17, 2023, at 6:15 P.M. All interested community members, parents, teachers, and stakeholders are invited to attend the meeting and witness the positive changes happening in the school system firsthand. The Board of Education values the input and perspectives of all individuals invested in the success of Gordon County Schools.
