NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

The Gordon County Board of Education will hold a public meeting on the budget, for school year 2025-2026, on May 12, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Gordon County Board of Education Central Office, 7300 Fairmount Hwy, Calhoun, Georgia. During this meeting, the public will have the opportunity to provide input on the budget. A copy of the budget can be requested by contacting the Central Office at 706-629-7366 or visiting our website at www.gcbe.org.

CHILD FIND REQUIREMENT NOTICE for Gordon County Schools:

Gordon County Schools has a duty to locate, evaluate and identify any child residing in the district who are suspected of, or have a disability or developmental delay.

Children eligible for special education include those children with disabilities who have autism, deaf-blindness, emotional disturbance, hearing impairment, multiple disabilities, orthopedic impairment, other health impairment, specific learning disability, speech or language impairment, traumatic brain injury, acquired brain injury, visual impairment or developmental delay and who, because of such an impairment, need special education services.
