My name is Debra Brock and I am the Principal for Red Bud Elementary School. Coming to work each day is a joy and a pleasure. Watching boys and girls grow into amazing young people is what makes my job so incredible. I look forward to many years serving as your Principal.
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a few things about myself-both personally and professionally. I received a B.S. degree in Management and Marketing from Shorter College in 1985. In 1998, I returned to Shorter and completed a degree in Early Childhood Education. Since that time, I have received a Masters in Education, a Specialist in Curriculum, and completed the requirements for my Leadership certification. I have also completed the requirements for my Gifted Endorsement and Reading Endorsement. This is my eighteenth year in education. I have served as Assistant Principal at Red Bud for three years. In addition, I have been both a classroom teacher and math coach.
My family is very important to me. I have been married to my husband, Dustin for nine years. I have two children, Joshua is 27 and Cayla is 29. Cayla’s husband is Dayln and they have blessed me with two beautiful grandchildren, Ava and Jax. Joshua’s wife is Magen. I also have an amazing step-son, Jaden, who is 14 years old.
