What is the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council?

The goal of the SSAC is to provide opportunities for students to be representatives of and a voice for their schools and Gordon County student body.

Students participating in the SSAC will have the opportunity to share ideas, offer input on various aspects of the student academic experience and learn more about our school system.

Gordon County Schools is currently seeking applicants in grades 8-12 to participate in the 2023-2024 Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council.  Students who have served no more than one year may apply to serve a second term.

Please note that the application, as well as the accompanying recommendations, must be submitted no later than October 31st.
