SHS and FES Participate in Reading Bowl

The Sonoraville High School Reading Bowl Team and the Fairmount Elementary Reading Bowl Team participated in the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl North Regional Competition on February 6, 2010. There was stiff competition against 9 other high school teams and 12 elementary school teams. They competed in six rounds each. The questions are based on the twenty nominees for the 2009-2010 Georgia Peach Book Award for Teen Readers http://www.glma-inc.org/peachaward.htm for the high school and the nominees for the Georgia Children's Book Award http://www.coe.uga.edu/gcba/ for the elementary school.
